Jennifer Smernes is the Chief of Staff at DiligentIQ. In this senior leadership role, she partners closely with the CEO to drive organizational priorities, ensuring the seamless execution and management of strategic initiatives, programs, and operations across the company.

Prior to joining DiligentIQ, Jennifer served as Senior Executive Business Partner to the Executive Chairman of Intuit and Chairman of Nordstrom. During her tenure at Intuit, Jennifer also held the role of Innovation Catalyst, where she facilitated workshops focused on customer driven innovation, product design, and cross-functional collaboration.

Previously, Jennifer held pivotal roles partnering with the CIO at KKR and Robertson Stephens and a General Partner and U.S. Venture Partners. In these capacities, she led efforts in project management, budget tracking, and interdepartmental coordination, driving operational excellence and efficiency.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Jennifer has also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Marshall University in West Virginia to an undergraduate class in business innovation.

She earned her BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hiking, playing cards and board games with her family and friends, and diving into fictional historical mysteries and sci-fi novels.
