Josh Martin is an Engineer at DiligentIQ, where he assists in backend development and the document ingestion pipeline.

Josh is experienced in backend systems, automation, and infrastructure, including Python, AWS, Terraform, Docker, and data visualization frameworks. He focuses on developing reliable solutions which are efficient and maintainable.

Before joining DiligentIQ, Josh worked as a contract Data Engineer at Sierentz North America LLC , where he developed internal data analysis tools, supported ETL processes, and provided technical support to traders and analysts. Previously, as an intern at a ML/AI firm, he built a financial document parser for AI training and also reviewed the firm’s training material. He also gained experience through contract work with an MSP, performing AWS-based cloud infrastructure tasks and automation using Terraform. Josh has also run a small business focused on rapid prototyping and design, combining creativity with technology to build functional products such as topography models.

Josh earned his Bachelors degree from Thomas Edison State University in Business Administration and Management.

Outside of work Josh enjoys keeping up to date with where technology is headed and small personal projects to understand their potential use cases. Beyond technology, he enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and gardening.
