Shaun Hegarty is a Senior Engineer at DiligentIQ. As a member of the development team he supports ongoing upgrades to the platform and LLM functionality.

Before joining DiligentIQ, Shaun served as a Senior IT Developer at KKR, where he worked in the firm's Dublin credit office. His role in maintaining critical applications supported credit analysts in their decision-making processes. Previously, Shaun was a Java developer at Capita Integrated Business Solutions developing accounting software.

Shaun completed his degree in Materials Science at Trinity College Dublin and spent a year in academic research before shifting to software development, obtaining a postgraduate qualification from Dublin City University (DCU).  

Outside of work, Shaun enjoys tinkering with personal coding projects and computer and board games.
